Jude Clapper started teaching synthetic biology at Taipei American School (TAS) in 2013 after attending a BioBuilder workshop at MIT.
He is now the chair of Scientific Research at the school, as well as an advisor for their iGEM team -which has won three high school grand prizes and countless nominations, and has inspired hundreds of high school students to pursue college experiences that include scientific research.
