Our Impact
Founded in 2011 by an award-winning teaching team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the BioBuilder Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization that combines life sciences and engineering education to deliver outstanding resources and programming for students and educators.
BioBuilder’s mission is to build bioliteracy, science identity, and workforce-relevant skills so students can access meaningful futures in biotechnology, with or without college.
BioBuilder’s approach is to equip students with cutting-edge tools and programs so they can tackle local and global challenges through bioscience.
The nonprofit’s vision for the future is one in which every student’s high school experience is engaging and prepares them for fulfilling, wealth-building careers that they want and society needs.
