Tian Shi is a senior at Georgetown University who came to BioBuilder’s Learning Lab at LabCentral as a high school student in 2017. As part of that two week summer workshop she designed a dopamine-sensing biotechnology. She re-visited this project for an undergraduate summer course in entrepreneurship and is now commercializing her idea.
She has also published a book on entrepreneurship. “Exceptionally Average” documents the conversations she had with young unconventional entrepreneurs.
In this podcast, Tian reflects on her writing process, her educational ups and downs, and her work with BioBuilder that she credits for introducing her to the notion that she can be an agent of change.
